These are the questions we hear most from Tampa Bay customers. If yours isn’t here, send it with your quote request and a real person will answer.
Before pickup
- Remove personal items, toll transponders and garage remotes.
- Take dated photos of all four sides before the driver arrives.
- Leave roughly a quarter tank of fuel and note any leaks or warning lights.
- Tell us about lifts, lowered suspension, oversized tires or a non-running vehicle so the right trailer is booked.
- At delivery, compare the car to the pickup condition report before you sign.
How booking works
- Send your details. Enter the vehicle, pickup ZIP, delivery ZIP and your dates on the quote form, or email hello@autoshippingnearme.com.
- A real person reviews it. There’s no autoresponder bidding war. Someone who knows the lane looks at your dates.
- We match a carrier. We reach out to vetted, insured operators already running in your direction.
- Pickup and delivery. Your driver inspects the vehicle, loads it, and calls ahead before delivery.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get a quote?
Fill out the quote form with your vehicle, pickup and delivery ZIPs and your dates. A real person reviews every request.
Are you a broker or a carrier?
We coordinate your shipment with vetted, insured carriers and stay your single point of contact from booking to delivery.
What affects the price?
Distance, route popularity, vehicle size, running condition, open versus enclosed, season and how flexible your dates are. Your quote is built for your exact shipment.
How soon can my car be picked up?
That depends on the route and the season. Your quote includes a realistic pickup window, and expedited options are available on many lanes.
Do I need to be present?
No. Any adult you authorize can release or receive the vehicle and sign the condition report.
Can I pack items in the car?
Carriers generally ask that vehicles be empty. Cargo insurance covers the vehicle, not personal belongings.
What’s the difference between open and enclosed?
Open trailers are the standard, economical option. Enclosed trailers fully cover the vehicle and suit classic, exotic or high-value cars.
Do you ship non-running vehicles?
Yes, on most routes, with the right equipment. Note it on your quote request.
What happens at pickup?
The driver inspects the vehicle, notes its condition on the bill of lading, and you both sign before it’s loaded.
What should I check at delivery?
Walk around the vehicle and compare it to the pickup condition report before signing. Note anything new on the paperwork.
Which areas around Tampa Bay do you serve?
We pick up and deliver across Tampa Bay: Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, Riverview, Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Palm Harbor, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch and Sarasota.
Do you ship long distance?
Yes. The ASNM network ships nationwide, and we have sister sites in Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Dallas and Houston.
Can you get my car to the Florida Keys?
Yes. Our sister company In-N-Out Keys handles deliveries from Key Largo to Key West.
Do you work with dealers?
Yes. We handle dealer trades, auction pickups and fleet moves. Mention it on your quote request.
Can you ship more than one vehicle?
Yes. Add each vehicle to your quote request, and we’ll coordinate them together where possible.
Can I track my shipment?
We keep you updated from pickup to delivery, and your driver calls ahead before arrival.
What paperwork do I need?
Usually just the keys and someone to sign the condition report at each end. Auction or dealer releases may need extra documents, and we’ll tell you if so.
What if my dates change?
Let us know as soon as possible. Changes before a carrier is dispatched are usually easy to work in.
Ready to get a quote?
Tell us where the vehicle is, where it needs to go, and when. We’ll come back with a real carrier plan.
